Replace Existing Bridge

The Church Street Bridge in the borough of Garrett carries Church Street (SR 2037) over the CSXT tracks and needs to be replaced. The bridge currently has a weight restriction and contains substandard lane widths to accommodate bi-directional traffic, so the bridge will be demolished and a new bridge will be constructed.

SNOW CANCELLATION NOTICE: Public Meetings for National Gateway Clearance Projects in Allegheny, Bedford, and Somerset Counties
February 08, 2010

Due to the snow emergency, the public meetings scheduled for National Gateway projects in Allegheny, Bedford and Somerset Counties have been cancelled. The meetings were to be held Tuesday, February 9 at the Quality Inn Conference Center in Somerset, Pennsylvania and Wednesday, February 10 at the University Club at Pitt in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. These meetings will be rescheduled and announced shortly.
